While I already knew that Rose Glen Elementary was a special place, I had the honor of witnessing just how special it was this past weekend. The Chicken BBQ was an experience like no other for so many different reasons. What struck me the most was the love put into this event by each individual who volunteered or attended the Chicken BBQ. I am truly humbled by your kindness, commitment, and generosity to our school and students. Thank you for making Rose Glen such an extraordinary place to be.

Final Dining Night of the School Year!

Thank you to all of those who came out to Culver's for our March dining night and all prior dining nights this school year!! Join us again on May 22nd from 5 - 8:00 p.m. for our final dining night of the school year at Culver's on Sunset.

PTO Elections

PTO elections will take place at the final PTO meeting on Thursday, May 24th. Positions available for election/re-election are: PTO President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. Individuals interested in running should let any of the PTO members know prior to election day.

Summer Bridge Activity Books Now Available!

Summer Bridge activity books are now available through the Learning Shop. Until June 30th, Rose Glen will receive 10% of the proceeds! These books are an award-winning, time-tested series that keeps children thinking, busy, and active while continuing to learn all summer long! Click here to visit one of their store locations.

Coffee Sale!

We are celebrating the 24th year of our partnership with a coffee sale. Our Friendship Blend Medium Roast is organic and shade grown in the Santa Anita community in the Guatemalan highlands. All profits from the sale will be used to support projects at our sister school La Escuela Flavio Rodas Noriega in Chichicastenango. Click here for the order form.

Rose Glen Elementary is one of the largest elementary schools in the School District of Waukesha. Waukesha also has 3 middle schools and 3 high schools.

Opening in 1979, Rose Glen was able to service the needs of the growing community of Waukesha. Prior to 1979, students attended Oakdale, Lawnsdale, and Lawrence Schools. The Annual Chicken BBQ began as a way to unite all the families of the three schools.

Rose Glen graduates attend Central Middle School and West High School. There are 511 students in grades through kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school colors are RED, WHITE, and BLUE. Our school mascot is the Eagle and our motto is “Soar like an Eagle!”

The School District of Waukesha provides a full range of services including special education programs and a program for gifted and talented students. Please ask one of our staff or the principal if you think your child may benefit from any of these programs.
